We spent a fantastic month traveling across New Zealand in a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter 2+1 motorhome from Pacific Horizon (with only 50,000 km on it), and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
The van was exceptionally well-maintained, with no issues or apparent damage. It felt modern, reliable, and easy to drive, making our road trip smooth and stress-free.
The amenities were outstanding—a toilet, hot shower (!), satellite TV, heating, a well-stocked kitchen, fridge, and more—everything we needed for a comfortable and self-sufficient journey.
We only had one minor issue during the whole trip—the diesel heater needed a reset—but a quick call to Pacific Horizon’s support team got it sorted immediately. Their customer service was responsive and helpful.
Overall, this was an amazing motorhome experience, and we’d absolutely recommend Pacific Horizon to anyone exploring New Zealand!

We rented the Mercedes 2+1 campervan from Pacific Horizon for our 18-day journey across both the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and the entire experience was amazing from start to finish.
Eddie picked us up from Auckland Airport and gave us a thorough introduction to the van. Pacific Horizon also provided free transfers to and from the airport—both on our arrival and departure—which made our trip planning so much easier.
During our travels, we encountered a few minor issues, and our ferry crossing to the North Island was canceled due to bad weather on the Cook Strait.
In every situation—day or night—Maryann stepped in to help us resolve problems quickly and get back on track.
The campervan itself was well-equipped, ran reliably all around the country, and truly felt like our second home on wheels.
A big thank you to Maryann, Eddie, and the entire Pacific Horizon team for their outstanding customer service and genuine care. We wholeheartedly recommend them for a stress-free and memorable campervan adventure in New Zealand!

The staff was fantastic.
They were very quick and kind when replying to emails and phone calls. They were on time in picking us up from the airport and very patient and thorough in explaining everything about the camper van and instructions on where to drop it off at. We even had difficulties finding a dump station right before we dropped the van off and they were incredibly kind to help us out. Great people and a great company to rent from. The van was clean and had everything they promised it would have.

We had a perfect trip in New Zealand and realy enjoyed our Motorhome.
Enough Space for two, all you need daily on board and we were surprised how comfortable the bed is. When we received an incorrect engine error, the office assisted us by telephone and the error was rectified during a stopover. In addition, the laundry was changed, everything was replenished and a complete check was carried out. We had a wonderful time in our home on wheels - thank you Pacific Horizon for the pleasant trip!

Superb service from initial quotation,subsequent queries to the hassle free return ( and lift to Auckland airport) of the Pacific Horizon 2+1
Our 26 night tour of New Zealand was excellent due in no small part to our Motorhome which was very easy to drive and to live in. Yes we got out the bed and put it away everyday but it took literally a couple of minutes. The Motorhome was well equipped and was perfect for a couple.
Many thanks to Maryann, Debs, Ed and Finn( who sorted our connectivity problem to enable CarPlay)at Pacific Horizon.

My wife and I have driven almost 5,000 km across the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
The campervan behaved very well. She took us to all the places we wanted to go.
We really enjoyed being able to be in contact with the diverse scenic views of NZ.

We were very disappointed overall and our rental from Pacific Horizon negatively affected our experience of NZ.
While the staff were friendly, the vehicle had multiple issues which caused us to have to stop several times for repairs. Pacific Horizon would not provide the opportunity for us to switch vehicles in spite of multiple requests to do so. They indicated that their goal was to get us back on the road with as little interruption to our vacation as possible, rather than provide us with a reliable vehicle! Problems included complete malfunction of speed sensors causing loss of power and then uncontrolled acceleration. This required approximately 4 hours sitting at repair shop (until 10 pm), fusing of power cord to the vehicle due to an electrical short, and headlamp malfunction. And, no, they did not provide us wit!h any sort of discount to offset the stress and the lost time that the vehicle malfunctions caused. Would never use them again and would never recommend them

Hi, we travelled around New Zealand for about 7 weken in a 2+1 campervan of Pacific Horizon.
The van funky met our wishes. The combination of comfort on the road and a complete interior was great. We are satisfied withe the van and service of Pacific Horizon.

Wir sind jetzt schon ein paar Tage wieder zu Hause mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen und ganz besonderen Eindrücken.
Unseren Traumurlaub in Neuseeland im November/Dezember 2023 haben wir genossen und dies auch dank Pacific Horizon. Das Wohnmobil entsprach exakt unseren Vorstellungen und der Zustand hat uns eher positiv überrascht. Es war gut gepflegt, trotz des mehrjährigen Gebrauchs und es gab keine negativen Vorfälle. Der Service bei "Pacific Horizon" war einwandfrei. Die Übernahme des Campers in Christchurch wurde von Michelle durchgeführt. Unsere Sonderwünsche wurden sofort mit einem Lachen erfüllt. Außerdem hatten wir drei Mal mit Maryann in/bei Wellington telefonischen Kontakt. Geduldig und sehr freundlich beantwortete sie unsere Fragen und besuchte uns für die Klärung einer Frage prompt persönlich auf dem Stellplatz in Wellington. Sie hat uns damit sehr geholfen.
Die Rückgabe des Campers in Auckland verlief ebenfalls problemlos. Fynn, ein junger "Work and Traveller" aus Deutschland half uns bei den Formalitäten und brachte uns auch noch zum Flughafen.
Wir haben uns durch diese tolle Betreuung sehr wohl gefühlt und können "Pacific Horizon" bestens weiterempfehlen. Monika und Thomas aus Deutschland
