Wow aqua taxis are an amazing business and would recommend them 100% .
We were able to change our booking from 315pm to 1215 without any bother. Skipper was amazing . I left my walking poles on the boat and once we were in motueka I realised so gave them a ring and one of the staff lives in motueka so brought them thru and delivered them to the door ! You guys are simply amazing . Thank you 😀👌👌

First used these jokers about 15 years ago and they’re still great.
Booked a taxi in the morning, walked in the park and jumped on at 4:00pm.
It was busy with a lot of people jossling to get aboard and the staff were all calm and reassured everyone that they would get back.
Will use you guys again!
Thank you.

Pickup at the campground, very friendly staff, especially our skipper even had a life jacket for baby.
Skipper showed us Split Apple Rock and seals and gave us much information and insight pointers.

Well organised pickup service from the campsite, great sightseeing, seals, nice walk from Anchorage to Marahau, clean area.
BUT I think very expensive at $25 for 35 minutes on a boat.

I love NZ and the ATNP.
Have travelled here 10X since 2002. People, natural wilderness, experiences have always been spectacular. Yesterday, I walked from Marahau to Te Pukatea / Anchorage with my host scheduling my return on an Aqua Taxi. Ride arrived on time, full boat. One seat under the protective canopy still left so I took that seat. Boat driver (elderly man) told me to move up front where a DOC member kindly offered her seat. When everyone was aboard, driver came up front and told me to return to the back so the DOC member could keep her original seat. Problem being my original seat was now taken by someone not scheduled on this trip. I had to sit in the very back most likely getting wet during the trip. Fortunately, the wind was calm and I got through without problem. After boat ride back to Marahau, driver asked if we got wet and I replied "Not at all." When I disembarked from the boat I thanked him and he did not even have the decency to say anything kind. He spoke nicely to all the other passengers aboard when they departed. The rudeness and lack of professional behavior by this driver will definitely come back on him. I will just avoid using Aqua Taxi on any of my visits to ATNP.

$29NZD for a 30 minute trip and seats were very small. Staff very friendly. Company holds the monopoly so no price competition.
