Paihia Haven of History Charitable Trust

Charitable Trust site, with the ruins of the first (missionary) stone house in NZ and loads of History information on our plot.
We're tucked behind a beach house, down a driveway and I've been gardening here for years so what campers find is shelter, proximity, nature and beauty. Please help yourself to herbs and flowers. Campers always find us a hidden surprise/oasis.
$30 per night Fully Self Contained only (by council registration) and a max of 7 (plus me, 8th) campervans per night. We work on a first-come, first-served basis, with payment on arrival.

  • First of all, the price per night dropped down to 20$ per night.

    When no one was around, we parked on the campsite which was amazing! It was quite, next to a huge forest and the garden looked beautiful. Later we met both sisters who welcomed us and who we gave the money. No exact checkin or checkout time. Very flexibel and in the center of Paihia. Would recommend :))
