My camper didn't have a back curtain and somehow the vehicle locked when I was outside and the keys were inside!
Other than that the vehicle was much as I expected. Perfectly functional, comfortable and ran well.

Britz Campervans
I hired a Britz hitop for a trip around Northland in early May.
The vehicle was great to drive and contained everything I needed. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and the Bitz staff were helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again.

Treasure Island Camping and Caravan Park
Beautiful location.
Well worth the drive out there. It's a big campground so lots of room to spread out. There are a small number of elevated sites with great views. The sites on the flat are also very pleasant. The managers were very friendly and the facilities are spotless. The nearby surf beach is very attractive. I'm not sure how good it would be for swimming as it looked to drop off quite quickly. Highly recommended.

Very nice spot beside the estuary.
Hardly anyone there when I visited. Friendly staff and spotless facilities.

Aroha Island
Beautiful, peaceful spot.
There are two levels. The lower levels (unpowered) have views over the water. The facilities are clean and modern. I enjoyed going for a walk in the dark to find kiwi. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful. Highly recommended.
