Mount / Mt Sunday (Edoras) Track
A long, unsealed road takes you to a beautiful valley where you can take a short walk up Mt Sunday (which is more of a hill).
Incredible panoramic views whether you are a Lord of the Rings fan or not.

Rangitoto Summit Track
We took the early morning ferry to Rangitoto Island, which was good to avoid some of the crowds later in the day.
Track goes mainly through bush, with a great view at the top.

Shotover Jet
We were just stopping in at Queenstown for the day, and it was so easy to show up and book a spot on the next boat.
There was plenty of parking at the jetty, but they also have a shuttle from town. The ride itself was a great combination of scenic and exciting!

Luckily we had an extra day to wait out some weather before beginning this track.
The day was perfect and the views superb. If you have a car, drive to the end of the track and book a shuttle to take you to the start in the morning.

The drive over unsealed roads and multiple stream crossings is just a taste for the beautiful scenery you will pass on this walk.
My favourite New Zealand walk so far.

Despite the constant Milford rain, we had a great experience exploring the Fiord with our friendly, knowledgeable guide.
The team was really well organised.
