Great experience to taste Waiheke wine and beer (homemade) from the Wild on Waiheke vineyards.
By the way, the best way to visit the island is to rent a car, with a scooter you won't be able to go on the eastern part of the island where the road is unsealed.

Rainforest Retreat
We have stayed there for a night and it was just perfect.
The kitchen was tidy, showers and toilet very clean but the best of it was the campsite in the forest. Amazing!

Glacier Hot Pools
I was really disappointed by the difference between what was written in the guides and the reality.
Three small pools, crowded, just one personal shower, extra fees for lockers and towels.
