Absolutely great walk through the Tongariro National Park.
It takes you about 7 hours, but it does not seem long because of the great scenery.

For $225 we (2 people) travelled to the South Island with our car.
I think it is really expensive, because you get nothing more than a seat and bad internet.

For $50, you can get entry to the Te Puia for the whole day.
There are really nice geysers and you get great information about Maori Culture.
