Really awful, rude service from Turangi i-SITE.
We obviously asked some 'dumb' questions. As a mother with three young children at an information centre, I did not know this was possible. So much eye rolling, sighing, and just blatant rudeness , I have never experienced anywhere before. For what reason I have no idea. RETIRE grumpy lady.

Tokaanu Thermal Pools
Quite expensive for a family.
Just one main pool. Only just hot enough. Quite busy.

Waimarama Holiday Park
Inadequate facilities for the size and cost of this holiday park.
Little shade. Large noisy groups of adults, drinking, playing music all night. Had to get up twice in the early hours to plead with two different groups to please be quiet.....don't go here with children ever.

Glenfalls Campsite
Nice wide open spacious spot by river.
Plenty of room for everyone. Can get noisy at weekends with large local groups turning up. A few too many dogs off lead (meant to be an on lead place) and in the water where everyone swims is the reason for a slightly lower score.
