Nice walk down to the beach where we had the opportunity to see a penguin (yellow eyed) and some fur seals.

Hard three hour walk at the beginning but worth it once you get to the top.
Really nice alpine walk with excellent views.

Interesting information about the Maori culture and the history of the area that makes the walk easier to the top of the hills where you can enjoy the great views.
