$15 to rent a board on site. Take a board with you before you go.

Whale Watch Kaikoura
We saw some dolphins and two whales.
It was beautiful but you do not really see much of the whales. I liked it but it does not deserve to be $150 per person.

Fantham's Peak
A long walk in one day, with a lot of stairs but the view of the volcano deserves it.
One of the best in New Zealand!
