Katiki Beach North Reserve Rest Stop
A really beautiful place.
We saw some penguins and a lot of seals. While low tide you can reach a little island, we were there at high tide and it was still really nice.

They had a huge knowledge about the nature and the Maori. We had a lot of fun!

Purakaunui Falls Walk
Short walk to the falls.
They are really beautiful, especially when the creek has a lot of water. On the way to the falls you go through a native rainforest. We can recommend it!

The staff were very friendly and the instructors made lots of jokes. We can really recommend it!

It is an easy walk and really beautiful!
You have a nice view and you meet a lot of sheep on your way.

Waipohatu Walk
A nice walk through native forest.
We went there after rain so it was pretty muddy. You can see two beautiful waterfalls on this track.

Rata Falls track
It was my first time in a native forest.
We heard a lot of birds singing. The waterfall was not a spectacular one but still beautiful. Easy track, not really exhausting.
