It was 30km of well maintained tracks and beyond, stunning scenery.

Although we set out to see the Hole in the Rock we came across a pod of dolphins.

Sail Fearless
We left Taupo to sail to the rock carvings on an extremely windy day.
As a result, we encountered huge waves on the lake. Standing on the front bow taking on 10ft waves was amazing. Every inch of me was drenched.

Wairere Falls Track
The hour long walk to see the highest waterfall in the North Island was totally worth it.
Well maintained track, plenty of sign posting and breathtaking views of the falls made walking for an hour in the rain all worth it.
