What a lovely place.
Quiet, very nice view, take a dip in the river and get dry in the evening sun. Then have dinner at your own picnic table and watch the stars at night. Cleanest longdrop toilet I have seen. Very friendly owner, makes you feel at home. So without any doubt our favorite spot to stay for the night.

Akaroa Dolphins
Wonderful cruise, nice people, we saw dolphins and seals.
We loved Hector, the dog on the boat, He barked when he saw or heard dolphins - so cute.

The view up there was amazing and worth the very hard track.

Nice to walk next to some sheep.
We were the only people there because it was early in the morning - so that is a tip.

Nice walk, well organised path to walk.
The wind was too hard to make a mirror picture.

Very nice waterfall, but so very crowded that people were irritated when you wanted to take a picture.

Franz and Fox Helicopters
This was a once in a lifetime experience.
We saw Fox Glacier, Mt Tasman and Mt Cook with a clear sky. Lovely, though it was very experience.

Nice walk, with a cool swing bridge, blue water was very nice to look at and make pictures of.
