Although the camper was rated as a 5/6 berth it was more like a 4 berth.

Not enough storage for all our clothes was a problem. Camper drove well but would not recommend going on any dirt roads with it as it was only 2WD and very heavy. Our trip around New Zealand was fantastic though and we loved it very much. The money we saved on the van allowed us to do more with our teenage children. We were able to go to White Island, have Christmas dinner up at the Skyrail in Rotorua, Boat Trip out in the Bay of Islands, a fishing trip in Auckland etc.

Make sure you get a camper with plenty of storage room.
