We started very early in the morning (7am) and it took around 8 hours.
it was even manageable for beginners, the view was great, just the end was a bit boring, because we just walked through a forest for 30-40 minutes.

Whale Watch Kaikoura
It was amazing to see these animals from the boat, which was very close.
Also, the team gave a lot of information about the species.

Cape Reinga / Te Rerenga Wairua Lighthouse Walk
We visited the northern most part of New Zealand and had an interesting view of two oceans clashing.
You realise how far away you are from your home. Problem is, that you cannot do more than just watch so it got boring fast.

Hole in the Rock Cruise
We did a four hour trip through the different islands, watched some dolphins and ate at a nice beach and it was very cheap.
