The views from the observatory are amazing.
The walk is steep, but short and sharp. The cafe at the top is great. Plenty of parking just next to the town centre.

Amazing scenery mixed with mining history.
Take a head torch, you can explore deep into the mines in the pitch black.

The tough 45 minute walk is worth the views.

Great workout and the views make up for the touch climb. Amazing scenery.

Great hike.
The DOC guys work hard to keep the track in great shape. I recommend going to the top lookout. It is very remote.

The Rock Adventure Cruise
The crew all welcomed us and remembered everyone's name from first introductions.
We went snorkelling and caught Kina, which we ate afterwards. Free tea and coffee.

A good hike to see the clear waters of Bob's Cove.
The extra hike to the picnic site at the top of the hill is a must.

Huka Falls to Aratiatia Rapids Walking Track
A short 10 minute walk to see the amazing power of the Huka Falls.
The Falls are a mix of pale blue and white. You will hear the falls before you see them.
