Beautifully preserved film set and incredibly lifelike. Great free pint in the Green Dragon Inn at the end. Pretty busy so best to go out of season.

Brilliant 'Hobbit' movie tour around a farm with many scenes from 'An Unexpected Journey'.
Amazing insight of behind the scenes of making of the film and excellent personal tour guide. Highly recommend.

Very expensive car park in middle of Wellington.
Toilets and hot showers but by main road and port so very noisy and unsecure. Only benefit is very near to the Interislander Ferry.

Incredible views at the start of the walk and excellent end views at the cove (where some scenes are from Narnia: Prince Caspian were filmed).
Stop off for a quick snorkel in Gemstone Bay too enroute.

Hidden gem.
Beautiful lake and park for only $5 per person! Toilets and hot showers. Huge space to camp so can have private little spot with the ducks and swans.
