Tourist place but a very unique natural experience.
Be sure to be there when the tide is coming in - otherwise you miss the blowholes!

Nice campsite at a farm.
Very clean, nice owner, you have animals close by (especially cool for children). I definitely recommend this one. It is located between Te Anau and Queenstown.

Gertrude Saddle Route
Not too hard hike of about 4-5 hours through a valley and not too steep walk up to the Saddle.
Also for families. The view was actually not what we expected. The Sound is barely visible.
