Awesome rafting, but make sure that you have at least difficulty 4 otherwise it might be a little bit too boring.

A nice small tour where they show you the way of a sheepskin from the sheep to the store.
It is interesting and you can buy some nice souvenirs there.

A nice four hour walk to the Green Hill top (which gives you awesome views over the area) and back to the carpark over the beaches.
It is really beautiful, but make sure you start an hour before low tide.

A free hot water RIVER!!
You can have a lovely swim there and enjoy the hot water or maybe get a massage from one of the small waterfalls.

It is beautiful and if you are walking the whole track you can easily fill up a whole day.
We like it, but if it is worth the price for 'just taking a walk' is up to you to decide.

One of the i-Sites where you can get a good local city map.
But the advisors are not very competent. Google will tell you more.

Classic DOC campsite, $6per night, clean toilets and cold water showers.
In addition to that, one of the loveliest bays I have ever seen.

Competent advisors which is actually a rarity in i-Sites.
But the local map is not very good.

In general a beautiful campsite, but stinky toilets and you do not even get a hot shower for $78 per person per night.

Just a lovely campsite right in the middle of the Abel Tasman.

The reputation as one of New Zealand's most beautiful one day walk is well earned.
We did it in mid October and it was quite dangerous, but also one of the most astonishing experiences of our lives.
