I hired a vehicle from Thrifty at New Plymouth Airport for 6 days.

The car hire charge was $470. I was told I was liable and purchased insurance for $254, but I was then charged an additional $1,620, bringing the total to $2,090. This was a very unfair and disappointing experience, and I would not recommend Thrifty.
