Nice calm camp right next to the lake.
Clean dry toilets available, access via gravel road, lot of space and no tourists. In the mid summer lake was still cold but nice for morning wake up swim :)

I arrived during summer and after the reception was closed.
I was lucky and find place (probably one of the last). At the morning I was really unpleasantly surprised because I paid 66 NZD. For one small car and one person on non-powered place. That’s more than in 10 holiday parks… I gave a bit more stars for clean hot and free shower and free 1 gb of WiFi per day…

Basic campsite with flush toilets.
There is lot of space for parking, bcs you can park on two sides of the lake (by the road). Beautiful spot for sunrise and stargazing in the middle of nowhere. Access by 15km gravel road but you can do it easily with normal car (tested with Estima). There is strong signal in whole camp. You pay 10$ per one per night in honest box. Near village is really interesting. Great place at all.
