Stayed here for one night before getting the ferry.
Location is great for the ferry as it was a 3 min drive to Bluebridge ferry.
It was $30 for 24 hours and there are approx 10 bays for self contained only.
The toilet block is about 4-5 mins walk outside of the car park.
Quite a lot of noise and light all night as it is a city car park!

Great free spot for an overnight stay.
Toilet block on site but was closed by the time we got there past 9pm but was open in the morning come at 8am.
Lots of flat space to park with nice views.
Heard the train a few times but other than that pretty quiet.

Lovely walk round to elephant rock at low tide.

Stayed here for one night.
So much space for campers all down by the water. There were about 15 campers when we stayed but still space for more and very quiet.
Lovely views of the mountains and walks nearby.
Toilets open all night.

Great location for a free car park for campers.
It was full most the time however. No toilets in the car park but you can walk to the Polynesian spa until 11pm and use the ones there, you don’t need to ask as they are just in the reception area. We also went to the spa for 9am for the Pavillions pools which was lovely and then meant we could use showers and have breakfast in the café.
(Yes it does smell a bit but that’s what you are there to see anyway)
