Booked this place last minute as the nearby free camping options are limited.

Cheap - $37 for an unpowered site, which is a self picking spot in the field. As we got there we found out we had to pay extra for the showers ($2 for 7 minutes) and the wifi consisted in a voucher of 1GB.

The toilets and showers on one side of the block are very run down. There was black mould growing on the bathroom floor.

The kitchen has 2 electric stoves and 2 sinks, all functioning, but again they have seen better days.

The place is quiet at night, but we left feeling a bit ripped off. We had some great experiences camping in NZ, however this was not it.

Don't buy the "rustic style", as this is only old and not looked after. It could do with a bit of love :)
