Intercity overbooked bus from Auckland to Whangerei and bypassed Akoranga North Shore bus station without picking up any passengers.

Completely crap service

No notice was given and 15 minutes after departure, I called Intercity, who explained overbooking and that they would send a taxi.

Repeated calls to Intercity call centre had same answer "taxi on way" but they had no details of taxi service, or vehicle number, so absolutely no help.

One hour later still no taxi, so I gave up.
