Pleasant Flat Campsite
We had a pleasant camp at Pleasant Flat Campsite!
Flush toilets, good service, nice wee walk to the river and decent space. Mix of grass for tents and car parks.

Mistletoe Flats Campsite
Basic DOC Campsite for $15 pp a night.
Allows dogs which is great. DOC website says space for 10 which is probably accurate with multiple wee pull over spots for you to park up. Some areas are boggy so beware. Toilet is a long drop, but was well equipped and smelt nice.
Has a covered cooking area with a sink and water which is nice.
$15 perhaps a bit steep (maybe $10). But it is off the road and relatively quiet even though it is close to the road.

Fox River Freedom Camping Area
Great spot to stop for the night.
Has two long drop toilets, and a reasonable amount of space. Beach across the road is lovely, explore the cave at low tide.
