It is on the beach!! (As near as you can get). Beautiful Bay and warm sea, basic facilities though.

One day kayak and walk.
Great guide (pom), looked after us very well and had excellent knowledge of the area. Saw Orcas while kayaking! Great weather too - perfect day!!

Take a drive through this forest in Northland which is beautiful rainforest and stop to see the giant Kauri trees which are quite amazing.

Maui Motorhomes
We hired a Maui Ultimo Campervan.
Good roomy van, some wasted space. Comfy bed and handy gas BBQ. Not tiring to drive long distance. Some cupboards are not well designed.
