Back to nature location with sufficient facilities - good intro to real New Zealand.

The spa was wonderful to experience, it was our first.
To be able to take the 'ecowalk' (5mins) to the source spring was amazing and good campsite.

Te Puia Guided Tour
The insight into the Maori culture was enlightening, the Maori people working there were enthusiastic to maintain the historic facts and the erupting geyser was fantastic to see!!!

Beach walk, easy access, careful of tides - 21/2 - 3 hours with swim in isolated cove.
