There is no need to expand to 5 days for equal nature.

Nice tour on Wanganui River through beautiful river landscape.
Things on guiding maps were explained, a bit confusing eg obstacles in water, rapids). Good price, good for families with older kids. I think there are more amazing rivers to paddle.

Tongariro Alpine Crossing
Even though it was crowded with tourists it was an amazing walk through different ladscapes.
A stunning view nearly during the whole walk.

Hipapatua / Reid's Farm Recreation Reserve Free Campsite
No showers, basic toilets, no other facilities but free and next to Waikato River.
Chrystal clear water better than a shower in the morning.
