We travelled both South and North Island with the campervan, pick-up in Christchurch and return in Auckland, 2 adults + baby.

The Camper was brought to us in Christchurch and we delivered it to the depot in Auckland, with John being so nice to bring us to the Airport afterwards (the depot is outside of Auckland). The car was nearly new and in perfect condition. The interior was clean and it has everything you need and a bit more (e.g. oven, microwave, freezer), and enough space to feel really comfortable also on a rainy day. The car is of course self-contained and we did some Freedom Camping which worked perfectly well. Driving was easy despite being a big van. We could always call John when we had questions (happened a few times) and he was always available, super friendly and able to help us. We had such a great time in NZ and would definitely recommend booking with Vivo Campervans. Hope to be back soon.
