The Location in Rankers is wrong!
It‘s in the middle of the small Town where the street makes 90 degree curve!
Altough in the end I wasnt staying there for the night Madeleine was so helpful & kind and gave me some advices what to do around!

We stayed hear for two nights.the owner is one of friendliest person I have met.
She showed us every thing in Whataroa. Even her own farm and all the animals. The showers are clean and have hot water and the kitchen has lots of stuff laying around but is also very clean.

Nice camping area with fresh water supply.
Showers are an extra cost at the hotel. The owners are friendly, they helped me dry out all my gear after a very rainy night in my tent! They also offered me a room at a cheaper rate because I was on my own. I'd recommend this place! :)

We called in the hotel to book in to this site and were taken to see the facilities before paying - fortunately.
The campervan parking area was in a boggy car park surrounded by unused machinery, and the showers and toilet were in the hotel which was closed at night. This is the first campsite I have ever refused to stay at.

The camping is in a mud pool behind the hotel, you would get bogged in there at the moment in a van, looks very unloved.
