  • Grass site with power.

Good overnight spot. Lovely views over the water. Quiet. Toilets, showers, kitchen and laundry were all clean and usable. Hot water showers for $1 for 5 minutes, and freely available in the kitchen. Reception had all the supplies that you might need. Even free lemons 😁

  • 1 dec 2023, paid 20 for 2 people and an unpowered site.

Camping itself has all the basics, laundy for 4 dol (2x 2 coins), shower (5 minutes 0.50 dol), kitchen and flush toilet. Nice view over the lake. Would recommend!

  • Self-contained Camper.

    1 night.

Average site but with a nice sunset. Feels a bit weird being the smallest vehicle on the grounds. A lot of permanent residents. One big luxury; hot showers for just 50cent. Totally worth it.

  • Good spot on the unpowered sites.

Great view and amazing sunset. It's a little outdated and there are alot of perminant residents but it was well located and reasonably priced. $10pp, pn, unpowered. Showers were 50c and hot and powerful.

  • Great view from the unpowered sites!

We could open up the van straight on to a view of the beach. Cold showers are free but if you want a hot shower you need to have exactly 50 cents. They have a sign up saying to drive in if you are after hours.

  • Great spot right between the Royal Oak Hotel and the river running into the beach.

Nice people (especially Gavin who was just a top all round fella) and flat sites with clean facilities. Camp kitchen with microwave, fridge, cooktop and a couple of sinks. Weather was terrible when we were there but still got a feed of mussels at the south end of the beach and then went across to the pub for a few ice cold pints while it rained most of the arvo. Would definitely stop there again.

  • Friendly staff, average campground.

We stayed here for one night and it was ok. Staff was friendly, anyways showers (50 cents for 6 minutes) and toilets need a make over and no facilities in kitchen except for microwave. Lots of permanent residents.

    Was ok for one night.

  • Close to the beach and you can go and collect mussels.

There are a lot of residents. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Pitch was big for $30 for a powered site. We stayed there after Christmas. Shower and kitchen a bit worn out.

  • Easy to get mussels here.

Good camp store. Great pub across from the camp. Right on sea edge, good fishing.
