Backpackers, campervans, tent sites and powered camp sites, and all lovers of nature will receive a warm welcome at Riverside Haven Lodge and Holiday Park. Situated close to Moeraki (home of the world famous Moeraki boulders), and Oamaru (known for it’s historic buildings, penguins, and steampunk), this idyllic location will put you in the middle of all the best activities around the North Otago district.
Our peaceful site is covered by a vast selection of specimen trees. The Waianakaura River borders our 25-acre farm property, which makes for a peaceful and tranquil setting. Only trees and the magnificent cliff and hillside to view. These fine features in a unique setting very close to the beach are ideal for leisure or sporting activities.
Large, bright, and comfortable rooms with Queens size beds and bunks. Huge magazine collection, books, and NZ information. Full laundry facility, barbecues provided along with outdoor dining, or our large indoor facilities. Take time out in the garden, and grab a book from our book exchange. We provide Shared Rooms, Double rooms, Twin rooms, and Ensuite rooms, all fully made up with duvet and blankets with towels provided. Powered and non powered campsite available also with shared toilet shower block, kitchen dinning room and lounge facilities. Dump Station available to guests. Free 500MB WiFi per person per day.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this idilic holiday park. The owners are friendly and kind. You will be able to feed the hand-reared animals. Wake up to the bellbirds, tuis and other birds fluttering around singing their songs. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Breakfast by the river is magicical way to start your day. Absolute value for your dollar.
