  • Such a fantastic weekend away using a Mighway campervan!

    We travelled from Auckland to Taupo and Rotorua with no issues. Our van was clean, tidy, and comfortable and everything was simple and easy to organise! I would definitely book with these guys again!

    Sort of like air bnb for campervans. Owner gave good handover. Van was older than expected (23 years), but had everything we needed and ran well.

  • Mighway app was great easy and efficient.

    The people we hired the van off were amazing. They went out of their way on so many levels. So many extras from cooking oil to food clips made all the difference when travelling internationally. We would use Mighway again. We had the most amazing hoilday. We even got service on app in rainy weather when other apps would not work. We did use an app called gaspy which was amazing and saved us alot of money if u could conjunct with them or offer same on your site would take it to another level. Overall Awesome!!!

  • I found Mighway a bit difficult to communicate with early on.

    I wanted to talk with the vehicle owners about a few things concerning their vans but wasn't allowed to until I made a booking. They were very coy and just kept diverting my questions and I very nearly gave up with them. Probably the only reason I stayed with them was the lack of options (without an extra charge) to rent from Wellington. The other issue was with payment, I had to pay the full amount upfront to secure the booking, also if the van had broken down I guess there wouldn't be a replacement either which could be an issue. As far as the van and owner I got they were great. The majority of my 7 out of 10 is for the van and owner.

  • Horrible experience.

    No support. No experience. Never again - would never hire a camper van again with Highway. I cannot even login to my account anymore - seems to be blocked by Mighway - unbelievable.

    We hired a camper van in Tauranga called "An awesome Motorhome". Camper Van was very dirty, we had cockroaches, bugs and more in it. Paied more than 3.500 Dollar for that trip and had to cancel it after three days.

    Neither the owner nor Mighway are feeling responsible for this mess. No support on side of Mighway. This is FRAUD in our eyes.

    Be careful considering MIGHWAY your next camper partner. Just an agency without unprofessional behavior.

    Received two emails from "RENEE RENATA" which describe an internal complaint handling that doesn't exist in our eyes. Never heard back again since these emails.

  • BEWARE- Mighway Camper Vans !

    First when we picked up the vehicle at RV Super Center the guy knew nothing about the camper. The camper was smelled like rotten fish and was not charged - later we found out there was no solar panel as advertised, no potable water and the grey and septic tanks had not been cleaned. We cleaned the van ourselves and called the so called 24/7 road side assistance to fix the hot water issue and help unclog the grey water tank. There solution was for us to drive the van to the shop 200 kilometers away- not exactly what I want to do on Holiday. Mighway was questioned about the 24/7 ROAD SIDE assistance and the response was they did assist by answering the phone !We were able to unclog the grey water but spent two weeks without hot water.

    Then the fan belt broke (we thought) it was actually a bearing that went bad leaving us stranded in Kaikoura. We called the 24/7 Road Side Assistance and again were told to bring it to a shop. When we pushed because our flight was out of Christchurch the next day, they finally said they would send a tow truck which would arrive around 1am and we could ride back to Christchurch (2 -3 hours) but when we arrived we would be on our own. Picture standing on the side of the road with your luggage at 4 am! Needless to say we refused this option, changed our flights and hired a car at our own expense. This company doesn’t care about you or your safety!

    Campervan was dirty and owner wasn't happy to help us. We cannot recommend Mighway at all.Better to book another partner such as Wilderness or others who know what they're doin'.

  • I booked a camper supposedly from a guy called Thomas.

    Camper is called Lunar’s campervan. It was a mega cheap conversion of a minibus - mattress on a ply base and a kitchen unit across the back. Sink waste could not be connected so could not use the sink. Cooler/fridge did not work. 2 chairs but no table. Never met Thomas, handover was at a ready mix concrete yard on Favona Road, Favona where there were a bunch of similar vans. Looks like they are using Mighway as cheap advertising. Thomas has a couple of others listed and Lunar’s campervan as shown now is not the one I hired. Beware!
