I’m sure it is a lovely place but at $90 to take a family of four for a two hour walk it is ridiculously overpriced. Especially when half was closed due to storm damage.

Beautiful walk through a volcanic valley, offering great sights including coloured lakes and thermal vents. Far fewer crowds than other thermal attractions.

Great experience, super walk, well maintained, the only negative was the weather.

Beautiful, we spent at least five hours there!

Absolutely a must see in New Zealand - you learn a lot about thermal activity and the hiking track is nice. It is rather expensive with $37 per person but for us it was worth it.
It is quite nice, especially the first part, but the Thermal Wonderland we liked much more and it is even a bit cheaper. Both are touristic in good weather.
It was nice to walk through the Valley but it was way too expensive in spite of the fact you could see everything for free somewhere else.
