Information

The Farm

A 1000-acre magical playground strewn with animals furry and feathery, fluffy and friendly. A working dairy farm offering unforgettable adventures and authentic experiences.

Jump on your dirt bike or borrow one of ours and explore one of the countless bush tracks for panoramic views across the harbour. Or try you hand on our motorcross track, with or without coaching from a national Enduro champion. If you prefer the sound of hooves to the roar of a motor, trek the spectacular surrounding scenery via horseback, trained by a renowned pioneer in horsemanship.

Switch up the elements, grab a board and hit the world-class waves at one of the nearby pristine beaches or rent a kayak and paddle and fish your way through the mangroves.

If you want to experience true farm life in a warm atmosphere, then strap on some gum boots and join us to milk your first cow, witness a calf being born, feed some piglets or just relax in a hammock with a purring cat on your lap and dog at your feet. At night, sit around the camp fire under a blanket of stars and spin some yarns with friendly folk.

The farm (stay) is a home-away-from-home, just a short drive from Russell and The Bay of Islands. Come and experience our unique family-run ranch for yourself and design your perfect holiday.

  • We originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying three… and honestly could have stayed longer.

If we had more time, I would have loved to stay as a wwoofer.

Such a cool place with heaps going on. You can join the morning milking, there’s horse riding, kayaking, nice walks around the farm, and when we were there the sauna was on which was such a treat. There are animals everywhere, lots of horses, chickens, and even fresh milk available in the fridge.

We stayed in our campervan with power and had hot showers and a great shared kitchen. There was a community dinner one night for $20 which was really nice, and the coffee cart made a great flat white.

It didn’t feel touristy at all, more like being welcomed a really nice atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and relaxed.

    community vibe.

Definitely recommend. Would happily come back.
