  • Great place for the night.

Right beside the water in nature. Lots of space and toilets were nearby. There was even a cold shower at the small beach. Loved it here !

  • Amazing spot right by the water.

Grass parking so great for setting up awnings and toilet tents etc. lots of people enjoying water sports so great to watch. Toilets close by were clean although recommend taking your own toilet paper. Says no dogs but plenty of dogs when we were there.

  • Lovely site right by the water!

Bring your fishing gear. Protected from the wind that comes off the sea. Love the sound of the waves and being in between the trees 😀

  • Shame no dogs allowed but great site on waters edge.

    Clean toilets close by.

Watch out for the mosquitos though!

  • Lots of spots available for campers.

Public toilet only 50 metres walk, no lights so take a torch in the night. No fresh water tap available so be prepared. Boat ramp near by. I'll definitely be going back with my boat next time.

  • Quiet place, parking on the grass, public toilet 100m away.

    Pretty good for no cost.

  • Nice spot by the estuary but overcrowded during weekends.

A bit noisy with the jet skiers messing around.

  • Beautiful spot right on the spit.

We were perched overlooking the estuary. No drinking water available. Would recommend!

  • Beautiful place to stay.

Love being close to the water for a swim. Can get a bit crowded in busy summer time so get there early to secure the best spots.

  • Great secluded and sheltered spot.

Plenty of space and access to the waterway. Bathrooms were clean but are old/basic and a bit of a walk. Overall a stunning spot.

  • Great place right outside Ohope.

There is great fishing all along the estuary. The parking is in an open field and you can access the beach from the sites. Bathrooms were a bit grungy, but generally nice. The park seems to be pretty popular and lots of boaters and groups were taking advantage of this spot.

What a find. A large field essentially with loads of rooms for campers of all sizes and free. 2 flushing loos in the adjacent park. Quiet

A great site. Quiet, free, by the sea, free, 2 toilets within a very short walking distance.

Room enough for a lot of campers/motorhomes.

  • Amazing quiet campsite at the end of the road.

Flat grassy field that is clearly signposted for camping. Right next to beaut beach and decent flushing toilets a short walk away. Can’t fault it.

  • Great spot loads of space, although our local friends warned us not to park on the right side (furthest from water) if it is going to rain because it floods that side!

Fine If dry weather. Drop Loo is little walk, but good. Quiet camp, plenty of room.

  • Lovely quiet spot with room for more than a dozen campervans in unmarked spots.

Small toilet block a short walk from parking with natural lighting only. Water needs to be boiled before use. Nice walk around the point is quite lengthy and track back past the golf course isn't well marked. Boat ramp with separate parking area sits beside camp site. Only a couple of boats launched dawn and dusk so noise shouldn't be any trouble. Much quieter than site down the road (but no playground for the kids).
