  • I mean it’s there?

$100 to take a family around. Some of the forest looks pretty dire with the biggest trees dying back and falling apart.

They’ve recently installed a zip line which is now in the middle of the entrance.

Maybe if you’re after a complete tourist trap.

  • Beautiful to do early in the morning when there are not many people there, expensive but a good experience.

  • We had a beautiful day to do this experience so the views were amazing.

You can spend as long as you want and it is a great place to take a camera. It would be good if it had a bit more of an adventurous element to it such as a zipline or a jump like the sky tower in Auckland. But hey! it was definitley worth doing.

  • Great views, pleasant people, only wrong thing was you had to pay full price even if you only wanted to look at it (some people don't like heights).

  • Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed this but its over and done in an hour tops and at $80 each we thought it was overpriced.

Luckily, when we arrived it was 2 for 1 so that took the sting out of it a bit. Maybe if it was extended with a walkway down to the lake and some rowboats to mess about in, something like that, it would just make it.

We had fish & chips in the restaurant (Groper) and for a cafe meal it was excellent, no complaints there at all! Lovely friendly staff too.

  • Great views and an interesting walk through the trees.

The only downfall is it is a bit expensive. We only went because we found a deal online.

  • Quite expensive, but exciting walk around giant forest trees, lake lookout up to 47 metres high.

14 km drive from Ross. Not a must do but nice if interested.
