Thrill on power boat, amazing view of Bay of Islands.
Hole in the rock & got to see fish at surface of sea - which is rare. Optional drop off at Russell which was beautiful & got ice-creams on the beach. Which were fabulous!

Perfect way to explore the Bay of Islands if you have not got enough time.
You will see the Hole in the Rock within half an hour. Nice guide enthusiastic! I was on the hot seat - free ride!!!

It wasn't really as "exciting" as it was made out to be so I was disappointed.
However it was a bit rainy and windy on the day I went and the boat didn't go fast enough - the sea was pretty flat so no jumping up waves or anything. For a good view of the Hole in the Rock it was good, but I felt this ride was more of a cruise than a jetboating experience. BUT that said - the weather didn't help on that day!

Out of 1.5 hours only 10-15 mins of excitement. Better jet boat experiences elsewhere.
