Near to SH2 in Te Puke, this reserve is handy not only to kiwifruit-land but also Tauranga and the Western Bay of Plenty.

  • Overlooking a large playing field.

    Only toilet is in the next car park but perfectly ok. We made friends with 2 other camper vanners so it was a great place to park up for the night.

  • Bay of Plenty has gone out of their way to provide some excellent Freedom Camping locations.

    Unfortunately this isn't a good one and I would highly recommend taking the 20 minute drive to Dotterel Point. The views and atmosphere will reward your efforts.
