I had a good yarn with the new owner, took over Feb 2025.
Very friendly and helpful - even offered to park my motorcycle in his garage when it was raining.
He's slowly getting the place tidied up. Pruned out of control shrubbery so our visitor could park closer - when we returned from shopping it was done.
Our room was OK for the price.
This is good budget accomodation run by a lovely Indian guy about to experience his first southern winter 😁. I reckon it will only get better. We'd come here again.

Started here for 2 nights I found it to be clean and tidy no riff raff was peace5an quiet showers an toilets clean I was very impressed an showers hor .
All campers were friendly the host was lovely good to deal with , nice walk not far to the CBD an food places I highly recommend this camp wasn't to dear either . I personally loved the cat lol spent time with me on the bed soaking in the heat of the day .

I feel this place has been unfairly downgraded by previous rankers.
A young couple runs it and they are very friendly. He patiently helped me qhen i was too dumb to operate the showers. Everything that matters was clean. The toilet/shower floor wasnt. There were some longtermers, some hard done by, but i respect people who cant afford permanent housing. The lounge kitchen is great. This is a kiwiana camp, like new zealand used to be. I find that charming.

Advertising photos are not indicative of what the place looks like. Stayed there a few years ago when it was lovely. Now with messy permanent and very untidy. Smoke alarm with flat battery only one drier working. Only one ladies shower other one out of order
Won't be staying there ever again.

A great balance between camping and easy inner city access.

We stayed here a year ago and again this week.
Yes the place is a bit tired but showers are good and free for 6 mins. Kitchen has pots, pans, cockery and cutlery. Clean and tidy. Would come back again.

I'am very upset with my stay here my first night was amazing 2nd and 3rd was horrible I ended up leaving because of another person who was residing here had very agresive loud company and the noise
and fighting continued all hours pm/am. On checking out my items of value left behind also in the rooms were not returned to me at all and I have not received any answers as to what has happened with my items. Just recently 25-05-2022 cold wet night I've re booked again even after my bad experience with prior stay I've booked yesterday and paid in full. I was about to be given the key then told by another staff member I was not welcome without any reason and refunded me what I paid I asked a reason and was told management said so I asked if I could please speak with management to get an understanding as to why I was not aloud to stay with this place. I was not at all a problem during my previous stays I was tidy quiet and followed all ruels. I believe i'am being punished for this camp grounds other residents company and i'am very upset I would like further answers please

Motor camp is looking tired.
Time for owner to give the place a face lift.
Nice dog friendly camp with majority of guests being permanent.
I will revisit in future.

Don't be put off by the negative reviews from pretentious folk that you may read on here.
Some people really should stay at home. For a short or overnight stay, this little place has everything you need and nothing you don't. Perfect.
