It's simple and rustic, basically a big grass field behind a pub.
But it's very welcoming, chill and homey. You have 24h access to the private area with kitchen, big comfy living room, toilet... The shower is 2$. Both shower and toilet don't lock but I've had no issue, everyone just respects closed doors. Owner, residents, daily customers are really nice and chatty. Also cute dogs who want to play fetch and get pets. There are sandflies depending on time/weather but you can just hang out in the living room. Would definitely stay here again, two nights weren't enough !

Good showers, toilets and communal spaces including kitchen. Pub is great, free pool. They dont serve food Monday/Tuesday fyi.
Super friendly host and a lovely resident dog called Rusty who loves a game of fetch!
Beware of the midges at sundown!

Really cool place with a lot of character.
Salt of the earth people and nice warm fire inside and cosy to get a drink or some food. Clean hot showers and toilets. It was nice to have a bit of a different experience along our way and we are very glad we found it. The price is great as well, was $16 a person in a camper van.

Owner was making dinner same time as us and we had a chat, good bloke. Nice place to stay, showers have locks now, facilities are clean. Helped us pump up a leaking tyre. Couple of friendly dogs roaming around I played fetch with. Would definitely stay again!

Could not lock the doors to toilet and shower.
Otherwise clean campground in front of the house, many resident people who live in their caravan or small huts. Basic kitchen with some items and a gas cooker in there. You can wash for 4$ and dry for 4$. Owner was friendly, you can definitely spend the night here.

I absolutely recommend this place to everyone.
Super clean and super comfy. Large common area. Good showers, fully equipped kitchen, tasty food, good price ($14 for camping). No party hostel style! Good people!

The hostel area is above the local tavern and fish and chip shop (which is apparently pretty tasty food, we didn't try) so be prepared for the smell of deep fried food.
There looks to be a few people living on the property permanently. We pitched our tent on the back lawn of the neighboring house, which was actually a very nice flat grassy surface.
Both my partner and I didn't feel overly welcomed by the owners and locals drinking in the pub upon our arrival.
We were both tired as we got in late, so we were asleep in the tent by 9:30. Around 11:00pm, we were woken abruptly to what sounded like a man brutally abusing his dog. We didn't see what happened or who it was (we were the only campers) but we were both very disturbed by what we heard. After that, we both couldn't sleep and felt very uneasy and somewhat unsafe. Needless to say, we will definitely not be returning.

Grass field behind the hostel, ok for a night. The hostel is looking shabby but all the facilities are clean.
