25$ a night for unpowered use of spot (2 people) - usually 40 a night but we chose not to use the power so we’re charged less
Trevor was a great host- friendly and laid back atmosphere
Only one other van when we stayed felt rural and private
Two shower/toilet rooms - one with better shower than the other No kitchen but sink with hot water to wash up in attached to toilet block
20 mins to havelock north where we rented bikes from
5 mins drive to ocean beach - hilly drive but beautiful sandy beach with big waves !
Overall basic but rustic charm and great value for money :)

Good quiet site with the basics. New ish owner is working on improvements but the water is good and showers warm. A lovely quiet spot and excellent sun set spot

Very friendly owner. The park is close to the ocean with basic services and comfort. OK for one night stay with a motorhome.
Just the five of us and one other guest. Stunning view! Toilet and shower okay, could be better. Close to sandy white beach.
The place has a rustic charm to it. It is a quiet location yet is it comfortable for a night’s stay. There are hot showers, a washer and the owner (Trevor) was kind enough to lend us his dryer to dry our clothes.
Beautiful country side near a fantastic beach, lovely owners and a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely quiet campsite. Reasonable price lovely hosts. Couldn't do enough for us. By a river with access. Free washing. Only 4 travelling sites with 4/5 cabins all with private hedging. Relaxed with chickens strolling around. Very near to beach.
Lovely laid back site which is sheltered and close to the sea. Individual camping and motorhome hedged areas. Electric hook up, two clean toilets and shower with washing up area and a BBQ also free washing machine. Wifi available. River next to the site beach short drive from the site. Good family run traditional quirky campsite (Don would not be out of place here).
Mountain biking on your doorstep and a friendly canoe club at Hawkes bay, we could be here a while.
Stayed again on 19 February, Yes its 45 minutes from Hawkes Bay but what a place, so relaxed.
Free washer with site fee, only $15 it's a place to restock, spend a few days, talk to the campsite wardens and characters on site. Accommodation also available.
