Unfortunately, our tour was marred by the attitude of the owner of the company, Mike Rose.
Our experience with PMT began in 2020, when we booked a 16 day self-guided tour, which due to the pandemic, was postponed. We eventually rebooked our tour for November/December 2023.
Following payment of the balance and receiving the itinerary, we noticed some inconsistencies between this and the website/original tour details. We queried this politely with Mike and we’re astounded by his arrogance and rudeness, having merely pointed out that we were seeking clarification before leaving the UK. He questioned whether a motorcycle tour of New Zealand was really right for us? His email reply was confrontational, including bold and red type and the tone was offensive.
To sum up, Mike needs to seriously consider improving his customer care skills.
Despite having had a fantastic tour of New Zealand, we will certainly not be using Paradise Motorcycle Tours again.

Thank you both for organising accommodation, car, helicopter flight to the avalanche, restuarant bookings at the Skyline restrauant, mobile phones etc for recent trip to New Zealand.
This was very much appreciated. Barry and I would never heve mad this trip if it had not been for Sharon & Tim deciding to go and asking us to go with them. Your making all the arrangements made it so much easier for us all. Your friendly welcome and phone calls whilst on the road made us feel at home. This trip will be a talking point for years to come . Once again many many thanks for your friendship and help which was very professional as well as caring. We will be indebted to you for ever for making this such a memorable trip.

Cheryl and I had the opportunity to travel for 4 days across the North Island with the itinerary that was prepared by Alison.
The trip went flawlessly and the accommodations were outstanding. The personal service that Mike and Alison gave to us was wonderful. Traveling in a foreign country can be uncomfortable at times, however; this was relaxing with new sites each day. The NZ people are very gracious and the hospitality was exceptional. We are looking forward to working with Mike and Alison again to book our next ride. Steve, USA

Mike and Alison were great.
We picked up the bike in Christchurch and returned it 9 days later in Auckland. The bike was in great shape, the GPS loaded with a great suggested route, everything was as it should be. Mike and Alison even helped us with lodging and ferry bookings while we travelled. They do not "nickel and dime" you, they just do it right. It really was more like having a friend at home taking care of things for you than a "company". Let Mike and Alison take care of things and relax, no worries!

We spent 16 days touring NZ with Paradise Motorcycle tours and it was the so exceptional!
Mike and Alison out did themselves. Wonderful hotels, terrific meals and amazing side trips. Our dream was to go to New Zealand, Mike and Alison make us want to return as soon as possible.

If so, make your arrangements with Paradise Motorcycle Tours! Don't waste time with the competition. Owner Mike Rose and wife Alison run an outstanding operation in every respect. They provide top quality equipment, offer both guided and unguided tours, book high end hotels with excellent meals included, and make sure you see the best of NZ. As tour guide, Mike knows the best roads and goes out of his way to make sure you have an exceptional trip. He's also extremely flexible when it comes to trip planning and execution, making sure there's time to relax and enjoy the sights. Paradise exceeded my expectations in every respect. You can't ask for more than that. Mike and I are already planning my return trip.

From the warmest of welcomes on arrival in Christchurch, to the final fond farewells, Mike and Alison literally made-it-their-business to ensure that Kath and I had the motorcycling holiday of a lifetime
! The planning that these guys put into the route, the accommodation and even the coffee stops, meant that we experienced the very best that NZ has to offer in the way of scenery and incredible roads, before luxuriating in the comfort of the next 5-star overnight stopover.
The accommodation on our tour included historic castle grounds ‘boutique’ B&Bs and smaller luxury hotels, with the only constants being terrific rooms, spectacular views and great food & drink!
Mike and Alison’s knowledge and experience of all the overnight stops and en-route attractions were complemented by their complete commitment to making the arrangements ‘join-up’ for a stress-free, unforgettable holiday experience. This included booking all the excursions we chose, in addition to ferrying us to-and-from the venues in the luxury, air-conditioned minibus. Kath enjoyed the minibus so much that she took a couple of days off riding pillion!
Marks out of ten? …….. Can’t be less than ten!
Thanks again Alison & Mike – the memories will last a life-time … but I’m still working on returning to remind myself, in person, just how good a Paradise Tours holiday is ..!

This time last week we were settling into a nice little country pub in Waikari.
Oh, to be back there!! We are starting to settle in to working life back here. Reality check!
Where do we start? How about a huge thank you from all of us? Thanks for the bikes, the service, the spectacular country side, and the engineering on the best and most consistent roads I’ve ever ridden!! The only complaint that we had was that your NZ engineers don’t know how to make a road without sweeping bends and tight corners! (... very tongue in cheek comment, that one. J )
Don at Avon was great. Although we have already done so, please pass our thanks to him.
Lidwina and I have already started to plan for next year. Everything is tentative at this stage, but if possible can we have first option on the Sprint for the same period in ’12. Friends of ours from Aus have bought a house in Wanaka. Lucky buggers! They have asked us to come over there next Easter for the air show. We are considering our options.
Finally... the Sprint was fabulous! Thanks again guys.

I came to Auckland wanting to tour the North Island by bike, I got that, with memories I will remember forever.
They were great to talk to, they picked me up, showed me the bike with a well planned trip by GPS. From the friendly pick up to the friendly drop off, they made me feel comfortable all the way through. They sent me places I would have missed and they gave me a tour that left me with enough energy to enjoy the trip from start to finish.
I can't wait and I am all ready planning to come back and tour the south island via Paradise Motorcycle Tours and build even more unforgettable memories!
