A very nice place. It is run by an older couple who are very welcoming and kind. One night for two people with powered site was about 36 dollars if I remember correctly. It's a big place with much space. There are two kitchens, showers and toilets for free. The shower is six minutes only but hot. There is also laundry though I don't know if it's free. The facilities are very clean. They don't accept Visa or MasterCard, so bring cash or pay with something called eftpos I think. Overall the best thing was the two elders running the place. They are very nice and interested 😊 Also I don't think there is any wifi.

Cute little campsite, with mostly longterm guests. Run by an older couple who do their best to know everyones name and where they're from. Amenities are really well taken care of, clean and new. Kitchen is okay.
There's many bunnies and a pet duck.

Lovely little camping site with powered sites and a large green field with rabbits off the beaten track. Entertaining owners, clean facilities. $17 per adult and showers included.
Great spot. Supper helpful staff, very quiet and close to a great pub. No banjo noises.
What a gem! We arrived late on a very busy day at a very busy time of the year..it was raining and blowing a gale, knocked on the owners/managers door, waited for the smoke to clear and were greeted like old friends. They found us a lovely powered spot ($28 per night) near the brand new/sparkling clean toilet block and we were all good. Rugged up and walked 5 minutes down the road to the very quaint Bannockburn Hotel which has some truly lovely old motorbikes on display in the dining room..warmed up near roaring log fire in the front bar, chatted to a couple of toothless red faced fat guys in flannelette shirts and got stuck into a couple of glasses of the local wine.Merrily made our way home in the torrential rain to cook up some just bought Mt Cook salmon steaks with a proper hollandaise, new potatoes and asparagus..oh and a rather cheeky bottle of Squealing Pig Sav Blanc...oink oink
We stayed here for one night - 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Modern and clean kitchen and bathroom facilities. The layout of the kitchen was awkward for several people to use at once but I have since read that there is a second kitchen somewhere. There was no freezer in our kitchen but maybe there is in the other one. My son enjoyed the playground.
