A recreational destination where you can relax and unwind in 80 hectares of holiday park, surrounded by forest, reserves and the beach.

We are situated in Spencerville, approximately 20 minutes away from the airport and city. We are situated in a beautiful area 500m from the Beach and surrounded by Bottle Lake Forest and the Brooklands Lagoon.
We have a wide range of accommodation for every budget from non powered tent sites to our Homestead which sleeps up to 18. We have a large number of powered sites and self contained units if you are traveling in a car.
Adjacent to us are 80 hectares of park, the beach, Brooklands lagoon, an animal/bird park, Bottle Lake Forest Park, and the many walkways…

Helpful friendly staff - had a 'duh' moment with the powercord and the staff came over to assist (even going back for a spare to test) and all this after closing time - this was much appreciated! The grounds was boggy due to the rain (and staff was aware of this and shifted us to a 'drier' area - thank you!). I can this park can be good fun in good weather - the only reason we booked here was the range of activities that we could do/see (but we didn't as arrived too late and was raining). Bathroom and kitchen amenities are average - quite dated but clean. Would stay here again if we were in Chch.

Really huge beautiful place, great jumping pillow which kept my girls really happy. Hot showers, no hair dryer though and iron very old and dirty. Yes a few weirdos but they can be anywhere, we are 3 girls on our own but all was fine. Stayed two nights, Adrenaline Park was awesome fun.

Really friendly reception staff, seems great for kids and families, had good facilities although bathrooms were dirty most of the time and this is off season with good weather!
Really good location for park and beach, as far as the holiday park goes it is totally fine and I would stay here again, it was just nothing special.
Also no free allocation of wifi at all, had to pay for all usage unlike others where you get 100mb-250mb included.

Maybe good location in the good weather but we arrived on a rainy night. Seemed like many long termers are using the site. Quite old facilities. Don't recommend for families with young kids... Too big a site and very dark so had to use the flashlight to go to the facilities though we parked nearest to them.

Big site with good facilities. The location is stunning. Surrounded by forest nearby sand dunes and beach. Also nearby a great park with amazing playground even for adults. :)

Nice campsite with good clean facilities, hot showers and great access to the beach and forest. Ruined only by building work being done right next to my tent all week which I wasn't warned about. They started at 6:00am too which I felt was totally unnecessary and meant no one could sleep. Other than that it was fine.
