  • Just a beautiful little campsite.

Really good hot showers, a cozy sitting area with a big warm fire, perfect for the colder winter/spring nights. It’s an old school building, so it looks very old and historic but that’s just what makes it so charming. Friendly owners and nearby the old

Ghost road and the charming creek walkway.

10 dollars per person per night, would definitely recommend staying here.

  • One of the best sites we've stayed at between north and south island.

Depends on what you're after. If it's to be removed from the crowds, wind and sandflies of that other nearby camping this is your spot. Very chill old schoolhouse facilities. Clean and orderly enough for the wife and just next to old ghost road if you want to pop in and out! Dave and Lyn are exceptional hosts. Bravo 👏

  • Such a nice little quiet campground.

Only $10 a night for a unpowered site. Host was very friendly and cooked some battered mussels for us. Facilities are a little old fashioned but very cosy. Showers are great - hot, high pressured and included in the price. Visit this campground people to bring more business to the area to keep it alive! Cash only so be sure to bring some with you.

  • Nice, quiet and clean campingground run by a very nice helpfull lady.

Situated only 1 hour away from beautiful Karamea just of the coast in Seddonville. Perfect for campers who like to escape the crowded popular places.

  • We had the place virtually to ourselves and loved it.

The lounge is huge, the kitchen would be small if it were busy, and the feel is delightful. Pay at the pub down the road and enjoy a relaxed stay at one end of the Old Ghost Road.

  • We had previously stayed here in January and were a little bit hesitant to come again but decided to give it another shot since it was central to our planned activities and had all we needed in a camp

. The all round improvement was amazing and hats off to the volunteer ladies who keep this place sparkling. It is great to see these old schools being maintained and given a new life, long may it remain a functioning camp.
