Great non powered sites by the river ,lovely fun person to greet us ,free non timed showers,full equipted kitchen,

take sandfly spray though .will recommend to others

We happened across this campsite due to a series of unfortunate events and were immediately welcomed by the camp host and some of the longer term residents.
Can’t thank or speak highly enough of everyone there. The camping is also great, river near by with a fantastic swimming hole, clean amenities, etc…

Can pick where to stay on a massive paddock. River right next to sites so you can swim when hot.

Very warm welcome.
Pleasant home-like atmosphere, clean kitchen and facilities. Good WiFi connection although limited like everywhere in the camp sites in NZ but sufficient to check emails and get necessary info from the net. One can have a nice chat and drink with the long-term campers in the “Dead Wood” bar or swim in the river nearby. Highly recommendable.
