  • Good quiet little spot staff were nice and polite , nothing flash but everything you need .

    Clean showers and toilets , We were in a Van so didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that , 2 minute walk from the beach .

  • The cabins were the worst I had ever stayed at.

    We booked 2 cabins at the Waitarere Beach Motor Camp for 1 night (we wanted to break our trip and visit the Levin A&P Show)

    They both smelt damp and the furniture was old, tired and worn out.

    When we booked I was told that the cabins had plates, cup, knifes and forks etc. One cabin had 1 cup and 1 spoon for 3 people. The other had 1 glass for 2 people. The fridge in one cabin didn't work and the kettle in the other cabin was faulty and we didn't feel safe using it.

    The children (14,12 and 7 years old) nick named the cabins "OH MY GOD" because that was all we could say when we arrived.
