Very well appointed in all aspects.
We have a self-contained campervan so took a powered site and did our own cooking in the van, but we did enjoy the nice hot showers there. They have a 5-min button, which was just enough time for me to wash my hair, add conditioner, etc. a nice place to stay and we'll go again.

Paid $68 for 2 people at a non powered site.
Fine campground with all the facilities you need including dryers and ironing. No complaints but poor value for money.

Didn’t need to book, just called ahead to ask if there was space and there was.
Good facilities and close by town. Wifi seems good. Plenty of cooking facilities available.

A decent holiday park with clean facilities, but the playground is quite small and tired.
I feel it is overpriced compared to what is offered (even within Taupo which feels more expensive than the other places we visited in NZ)

Facilities are nice and clean.
Sites are big.
But close to the road, so noise in the morning.
No close access to the lake (walking distance for a short swim)

Paid $52 per night for a 2 person powered site (no unpowered available).
The facilities were dated but clean enough. There is wifi, but unusable slow.
Swimming in the lake is a short drive away. Friendly manager.
It's okay, but in my opinion not worth $52.

Little bit away from the town but it's nice. Clean facilities, nice receptionist. Pretty sure I remember free WiFi which is always a bonus. Would recommend

Very nice place and compared to other campsites near by only 29 dollars.
Close to the street, but you won't notice. Extremely nice and welcoming host, even got a welcome gift. Toilets, showers, kitchen all good and clean.
