The most expensive site we stayed at, but reflected in the facilities provided. Good showers with hair dryers. Large kitchen and lounge area with TV and books. Free tennis court and hot spring pool. Shop with basics. Also Great cooked food available from Thermal Pools next door. Stayed extra nigh. Good place to rest and recuperate during travels.

I spent one night while bike trekking. Very clean, pool was good. A little expensive. Staff were great.
Big campsite with nice facilities, big clean kitchen, very well equipped. Nice showers and toilets. Good laundry facilities. BUT very noisy with families/children so don’t stay for a quiet night ( or ask to be further from facilities block). Although the park does have a very nice hot pool that was quiet in the evening, but I think you can pay to get into the hot pools behind the campsite too.

Our last night in NZ. Very handy site for returning to Airport about 1-1.5 hr run (road works at the moment) Very friendly staff. Plenty of showers and toilets. Kitchen looked good but we didn't need to use it. Large outdoor communal seating area, good laundry $3 wash, $3 dry. Quiet considering it is a large site and there was a big group of motor homes travelling together and it was their first night in NZ. Bernie the Manager was really helpful. He let us wash our hired Motorhome, even providing us with detergent, so that we returned it in good order.

I thought Miranda was actually a small town but there is no town. However, they do have an onsite shop, there is just the one hot pool, although next door is another pool complex (extra charge) which has hot and cold pools. Also next door is a takeaways bar you can order from too. The facilities at Miranda Park were fantastic! Very clean and plenty of toilets and showers. Huge kitchen with plenty of room for cooking. They also have activities around the park; mini golf, trike rides I think its called? And lots of things to do for kids as well. The pool is the feature of this place though and it didn't disappoint. We loved the pool! Very relaxing. Our unpowered site was huge and we had our own picnic table too. Friendly staff at reception, this place has it all.
