Visited Miranda coming out of Auckland towards Coromandel as a quick 1 night stop. We have been here before and enjoyed the hot pool facility into the evening.
Lovely clean facilities and a good kitchen and dining communal area. Will visit again when we are in New Zealand.
Quiet and clean, the large property has lots of family activities (tennis, trampoline, pedal cars, mini golf); hot spring pool was lovely. Kitchen and eating areas were clean - a few flies were a bother in late March. Free showers. Food supplies at the office.
Thanks so much to the beautiful owners of this park in Miranda, when our campervan broke down they helped us so much with jumper leads and charger
our experience in the camping grounds was absolutely excellent, all the staff were so helpful, especially the Owners and the grounds keeper whom came out of their daily duties to see how we were going.
Perfect comments: very clean kitchen, TV room, BBQ's, just to name a few .
i will inform all our friends in Australia to go stay in the MIRANDA HOLIDAY PARK.
NB: Hot pool fantastic
Best wishes for the Parks future, happy to give you my email address if you want my information or to speak with us.

It's a nice camping area, with a big kitchen and clean TV room and the pool is a nice thing. But the staff is awful and not very helpful. In addition, backpackers get the uneven sites and you have to pay extra for internet. So all in all not worth the money!!!
The only camping map where each location is approved by every regional council in NZ. So if it shows on the map, you’re allowed to stay.
The Official Camping Map of NZ, is also in association with…
This could be a great holiday park: clean and modern kitchen and sanitary building, hot pool. But the sites are the smallest we have seen in 3 weeks on the north and south island and you are not allowed to choose your own spot. Only a third of the sites was occupied but everybody was crammed in one part of the park.
Great holiday park. Super clean, quiet, well kept and with lots of facilities. Great hot spring pool open until 10pm. Very friendly and competent staff. Sites have lawn and mature trees. I strongly recommend.
Good site. Good facilities. Excellent kitchen.
We had a wonderful visit. The park was very child friendly.
We got engaged in the parking lot on Dec 25, 2008 so it holds a special place in my heart.
Great place to relax and unwind in the thermal hot pools, we arrived on a rainy afternoon and the thermal pool was a superb 37.5 degrees, even in the rain this was a great place to unwind!. Clean the van and do the washing! Close to Auckland for departures.
This site is like a mini haven. So relaxing with one of the best thermal pools in NZ. Perfect site all level. I would say standard is higher than top 10 sites generally ( and we have stayed in quite a few throughout NZ.

We stayed here for our last 2 nights of our 6 weeks tour of NZ. Obviously, the overnight stop for first night's too.
Large pitches and excellent facilities. Kitchen spotless and excellently well equipped with pots, pans, crockery etc.
Boxes provided for last night campers to leave unwanted items and food, which is greatly appreciated by other camp mates.
Lovely clean, large hot water pool. We looked at the public one next door and didn't feel the need to pay to go in there.
Clean and large park. Hot springs are nice.
We stayed the first night in New Zealand on this very nice campground. Clean showers (6 mins hot water) and toilets (we didn't use other facilities). The hot pool is great after a 36 h trip. Great place for the first or the last night. 49$ for a powered site is quite much.
